This weekend his grandfather Robert “Bobby” Gibson passed away from complications related to pneumonia and heart failure. The viewing was Tuesday and we had a service followed by burial yesterday. Jan’s mom and aunt are taking it hard. They lost their mom, Bobby’s wife Rose, nearly 5 years ago. We now will be facing another holiday season dealing with this loss.

Below is  a photo of Grandpa from June of last year. It was the only photo I could find of him that I had taken. They used it on the memorial program. Everyone really loved this shot and that makes me feel good and that maybe I helped a little in celebrating his memory.

Please keep Jan’s family in your thoughts as they get through this. It’s going to be a difficult road for them as they are a very close family.
